Give Me A Name

The inspiration for our website was the story of Aaron Schwarz who decided to change his name and he asked people for helping him to find the best name for him. Besides my friends and me were developing some web portals but we had sersious problems with giving them good, unique business name. Many people has this problem – how to find name for business startup, brand for product, service or website. Even finding title for song, poem or novel can be not so easy.

We decided to start with fully interactive website, with discussion based content created by itd users. We divided discussions into few categories with topic suggestions.

The main idea was to create web 2.0, nice designed website which will be very easy to use – with no registration required (but possible), with possibility of creating answers and subscribing discussions in the most possible easy way. We intergrated this website with Twitter so is uses the power of microblogging for helping our users.

Simplicity and usability was the main rule we chose. We hope that everybody looking for name for anything will be able to use our service, and people will share their ideas. We believe that open minds will let us create community cooperating in naming everything in the world.
