One Pager website about ‘Boy Phoenix’. A book by author Helen Blake, which places Jimmy Melrose where he belongs: as a national symbol of those adventurous days in the air. The site and book is a tribute to a young and debonair Australian aviation pioneer: one who strove to bring air travel to the public eye – locally and globally. Jimmy Melrose and his peers dared to believe we could all fly.

Rapid design and development. but we don’t give less. handcoded. 1 pager – has flash slideshows and flash video. links to a blog and paypal to purchase the book, has a PDF sample download too.

Cheers

Briannotbryan Design is my business website that focusses on web design, development, print and photography services to Utah businesses.

This site took be 3 months and is extremely powerful because it’s coded with the latest standards by use of CSS2, CSS3 and XHTML and is spiced up with the interactive Javascript library Jquery. The website passes W3C XHTML Strict standards and I am very proud of that. The back-end is currently running on Expressionengine and allows me to have complete control of every section along with maintaining proper code structure.

I have many interactive sections on the site including the Footer section which is normally the least visited section of any site, so I wanted to draw people in for a moment longer and play with my gears and business cards. (It’s almost like me handing the client a card)

It’s hard being different in with design and color, and I think I have nailed it on the head! This is the darkest designed site I have built and think it works well because I really have not seen to many other sites like this. Have you?

There is currently a hidden section on the site that is controlled by special key commands that will take you on a flash hunt for Waldo. Can you find it?

What makes this site hopefully stand out from the crowd is the blog content, color and the fact that it is not a Wordpress theme. I appreciate the consideration as my site is always a work in progress though I am trying my best to become the best designer I can be Thank You!

I designed and developed this website using photoshop and illustrator cs3. For the coding I used notepad++ which is an amazing tool for programmers, using Object Oriented PHP5, jQuery, CSS, XHTML, XML. It follows w3c standards and has a dark background yet not too heavy to the eyes. It’s my freelance website where you can find information on services, my new product still in development called BRExpenses, as well as my portfolio and a contact form with the chance to insert 3 different telephone numbers and email addresses interacting to meet the user’s needs.
