Built on large background picture with lot of functions comming out from jQuery framework. jQuery holds resize of background, fading in hovers, slideshow, round corners, tips etc. The main idea was to give to visitors of good feeling of what they see – and want to have it too! All pictures used on background are in fullHD size (1920×1080px) so it should look great on small 14″ as on a wide 30″ LCD as well.

The Vancouver Alliance for Arts and Culture website has recently been redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up to incorporate a streamlined look, member accounts and profiles, an active job board, an arts advocacy blog, and (our favourite feature) an Arts Map of the Metro Vancouver area. Drupal became our platform of choice because of its breadth of features, flexibility, standards-compliance, and extensibility. We plan on working with the Alliance for Arts and Culture to expand on the member functions on the site including member blogs and an extensive arts event calendar.
