The Vancouver Alliance for Arts and Culture website has recently been redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up to incorporate a streamlined look, member accounts and profiles, an active job board, an arts advocacy blog, and (our favourite feature) an Arts Map of the Metro Vancouver area. Drupal became our platform of choice because of its breadth of features, flexibility, standards-compliance, and extensibility. We plan on working with the Alliance for Arts and Culture to expand on the member functions on the site including member blogs and an extensive arts event calendar. Our shared goal is to create and nurture the Cultural Concierge for Greater Vancouver and beyond!
